Philip and Rebecca's Christening.

September 26th 1999

The Christening of Philip and Rebecca took place at out local church, St Marks. Then afterwards we had a party for about 70 people (including children and babies) at our house. We were so lucky the weather was fine, and we were able to use the garden.

Rebecca and Philip both wore traditional Christening Gowns for the service which have been handed down through Helen's family over the years. They looked lovely.

Philip and Rebecca both share 6 God-parents, as we couldn't decide who to give whom, and thought it was fairer this way. They are Uncle Dom and Uncle Ben (Twins and Daddy's Brothers) Auntie Helena (Daddy's sister), Uncle Steve (Mummy's brother), Adrian and Lorraine (family friends).

We had a lovely day, Philip was Christened Philip Matthew (after his Dad) and Rebecca was Christened Rebecca Winifred Mabel (after both her Great Grandparents).
